COVID-19 Health and Safety Update
There is no higher priority for us than the health and safety of our patients, staff, and their families.
Though according to the CDC, the risk for most is low, Metropolitan Urology Group is taking additional health precautions in response to the evolving concerns regarding the spread of the COVID-19 commonly known as CoronaVirus. Per recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Metropolitan Urology Group is exercising extra precaution in hopes of keeping staff and patients healthy.
In order to limit the spread of germs you may see our medical staff wearing masks and gloves more frequently than usual, and we have implemented a “no handshake” policy. Additionally, we have increased our cleaning precautions throughout the office and all exam rooms are thoroughly sanitized between each patient visit. Hand sanitizer is available to staff and patients throughout the office.
What you can do to help!
- If you are unwell, have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or have recently been exposed to someone with these symptoms, please cancel your appointment.
- If you have traveled to China, South Korea, Italy, Iran or Japan in the last 14 days, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment as a self quarantine is recommended after international travel.
- We require that you wear a mask or face covering to your appointment. If you do not have a mask we are happy to supply one.
